'Penneck & Dunkin's Patent Equalizer,' 1820. 'A Machine to be attached to Steam Engines working expansive,' three page, 4to, 330cm x 200mm, Vigurs, Printer, Penzance, 1820. Henry Penneck & Robert Dunkin, both of Penzance, patented this machine to improve the efficiency off the steam engine, thereby using less fuel and steam. Trialled at 'Ding Dong' mine on August the 5th 1820, as explained, signed at back by engineer Mr. F. Michell of Redruth, loss to centre fold to an otherwise vg copy of this rare survivor.
