A late 19c French mantel clock, the movement rack striking on a gong. It is contained in a brass case with stepped top and base, the top having four corner finials and a central fifth mounted on a conical plinth supported by stub columns. The case corners have turned columns and the front and side panels have floral engraving. The 9cm dial is silvered with Roman numerals and has a gilt filigree centre. The clock stands 30cm tall.
Movement is clean and complete as is the case and dial.
