Louis Burleigh Bruhl was an English landscape artist born in Baghdad and educated in Vienna and England. He studied medicine at the London Hospital. After pursuing painting he became President of the Dudley Gallery Art Society and President of the Watercolour Society. This painting portrays a scenic view comprising of a lake with small sailing boat, next to a field with a couple gazing upon fields and a church building in the distance. Signed to bottom corner.
