DANZIG + POLAND (WARSAW) - RED "No.9/59" MARKS ON OFFICIAL/PRIVATE MAIL TO FRANCE 17 Dec. 1806 EL from the Quartermaster General at "Vursorie" [=Warsaw?] to "Goylau" [Gola near Poznan?] with military endorsement on front so sent free with mainly very fine red "No.9/GRANDE ARMEE" nicely placed on the front; plus 26 Oct. 1807 EL (some creasing) from a soldier in "Danzig" to his sister in Marat charged "9" (decimes) with a partly fine red "No.59/GRANDE.ARMEE" mark (creases) on the front.
