Harry Rountree / Golf Interest. A bronze struck golf medal engraved for 'Harry Rountree 1931,' reverse struck 'London Press Golf Society,' the obverse with a book-press with two crossed golf clubs and balls, 22mm diam, in original gilt-tooled black leather fitted presentation box with satin and velvet interior printed 'By Appointment, Elkington & Co Ltd, Medalists.' (Harry Rountree was an artist, and book illustrator of children's titles, a keen golfer he also illustrated Bernard Darwin's popular book "The Golf Courses of The British Isles.' Darwin was captain of The Press Golf Society in 1911 followed by Rountree in 1913.
