A Meissen teacup and saucer, well-painted with harbour scenes, the sides with scattered sprigs, orange and gilt diaper borders above foliate C-scrolls, entwined branch handle, the 13.6cm diam saucer with a shallow trembleuse reserve, underglaze blue crossed swords enclosing a dot, inscribed numbers, and each inscribed onglaze with a gilt S, c. 1770
