Zulu Assegai Spear with typical two colour brown and black wood haft with carved butt end. Squared metal tang which has 5 die stamped markings, copper/brass binding to the haft. Blade plus tang measures 385mm. Overall length approx. 110cm. Possibly made for a high ranking Induna.
Good overall condition. Some of the brass/copper binding has come adrift. Blade has some bends.
