Ireland - Relief of Distressed Irish. 1822 (Aug 19) Printed entire letter from the City of London Tavern, containing extracts of letters describing the plight of the poor in Ireland, the address panel with printed heading "On the Business of the Committee for the Relief of the Distressed Irish" and "Free - F. Freeling", addressed to Burford with red Free datestamp. Very scarce, just three printed wrappers (one a front only) recorded from this charity. Photo on Page 44.
