NEGUS, Raymond E. 'The Lovers and Other Poems' Erskine Macdonald Limited, first edition, 1917, with two tipped-in poems, one on headed paper for Pendarves House titled 'Southernwood'. Virginia Woolf was said to be a relative of one of the former residents, Elfrida Marguerita (nee Stephens, born 1898) and does mention Southernwood in three other publications, but it is not definitive, and perhaps rather tenuous to believe that this poem may have been produced by herself; together with Emily Westrup's copy of Crosbie Garstin's 'The Ballad of the Royal Ann', flat-signed by herself and a further hardback copy signed by Crosbie Garstin to Ella Naper.
