The Henry & Tricia Byrom Collection - an ebonised & marquetry inlaid table clock, circa 1750, the marquetry late 18th century, the twin fusee movement with original verge escapement, the pull quarter repeating mechanism removed, the rise & fall regulation partly removed, the engraved backplate & dial signed 'John Berry / London', the bell missing, 20ins. (50.8cms.) high (with handle raised). Provenance - bought at Sotheby's, 06 October 1994, lot 346.
