A French Louis XV style rosewood and Vernis Martin panelled Bureau de Cylinder, early 20th century, with pierced gallery above a superstructure of small drawers and painted with romantic scenes and fitted with gilt metal mounts, the fall retracting on the opening of the frieze drawer to reveal a fitted interior, supported by slender cabriole legs. 76 cm wide x 52 cm deep x 109 cm overall height, 62 cm knee height in the writing position.
