A French State Railways cabside numberplate, S.N.C.F. 141.R.478, from a standard gauge class 141.R 2-8-0 built at the Baldwin Locomotive Works in the USA. The class was used all over the French Railways system from 1945 until 1974. Cast iron, overall 22¼"x14½", in ex loco condition. Please note this description has been amended from brass to cast iron.
