American Waltham silver lever pocket watch, Birmingham 1885, signed gilt movement with compensated balance, regulator and safety pinion, no. 7178xxx, hinged cuvette, signed dial with Roman numerals, minute track and subsidiary seconds, within and engine turned case with engraved cartouche, case maker A.B (Alfred Bedford - Waltham Watch Co), 52mm
Movement - currently functioning.
Dial - a few marks and a light scratch mark.
Glass - light surface marks.
Hands - minute hand broken, light surface marks.
Case - surface marks, couple of small minor bruise marks, tarnishing to the case back and around the stem - see image, movement dated 1895, case dated 1885 although is a Waltham case - possible associated case subject to personal opinion.
