1804 (Dec 9) Entire letter from Philipstown to "Capt. Hutchinson or Officer Commanding the Yeoman Infy, Roscrea", headed "OHM Service" and signed "B. Gen. Blake", the reverse endorsed "nb - all concerned be particular in this express", "Route Tullamore, Frankford, Whigshore, Birr to Roscrea, E. Morris BM" and "From Tullamore 9th Decr 6 o'clock", with "at 5 miles per hour" on the front. The letter tells of a forthcoming inspection of the Yeomanry Corps at Roscrea by Brigadier General Blake.
