THREE MEDIEVAL TILES AND A REPRODUCTION MEDIEVAL SOCARRAT TILE comprising a partially glazed geometric terracotta floor tile of a medieval Anglo-French tradition, height 10.5cm x width 10.5cm, a similar example exists at The Louvre (Object Number: 12107 13), a medieval terracotta floor tile with arabesque central panel and incised border, height 12cm x width 12cm, a glazed terracotta floor tile with an eagle pattern of the Flemish style, height 6cm x width 6cm with OS95C2 written on the reverse in black ink, a reproduction medieval Socarrat tile by the artist Enrique San Antonio depicting an abstract 'Hamsa' motif of the Iberian style, signed E.S to the lower right corner, ''Socarrat Siglio XV E Santonio written in black ink to the reverse, height 10cm x width 10cm (3) (Condition Report: the geometric tile has visible signs of plaster to the reverse and front, the arabesque tile has visible chips to the upper right corner, and visible loss to the right side, holes within the tiles design visible, one hole backfilled, remnants of plaster, chip to the corners of the eagle tile, chips to the reverse of the Soccarat tile, minor chips under the painted glaze as part of the manufacturing process, see photographs for more details)
