A Japanese Nagoya inlaid bronze vase and cover, Meiji period, the domed cover with a silver and gold wire inlaid knop in the form of Daikoku's mallet, above further mixed metal inlaid auspicious symbols, the body with stylised dragon handles flanking two inlaid fighting cockerels, the reverse with inlaid decoration of a Manchurian crane flying towards Mount Fuji, supported upon three long and slender inlaid legs, marked for Nagoya, 29.5cm

The tip of one dragon tail has been broken off and re-applied. There is an 11cm long by 4mm deep insert in the rim. Some light rim nicks but nothing too significant.Otherwise no further obvious faults visible.
