Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint looks rather dirty with a fine craquelure which is starting to lift in places most notably her extended arm and in the darker background, signs of retouching throughout, housed in an old gilt frame with attribution F. Lemaire inscribed upon it.
