FRANK ALBERT PHILLIPS (ACTIVE CIRCA 1849-1913) St PETER AND St ANDREW, two oils on canvas depicting the Saints of the Christian faith, St Andrew is depicted before a symbolic St Andrews cross, he holds a fish in his hand, signed and dated 1861 bottom left, St Peter is depicted wrapped in a yellow cloak with a fishing net at his feet, behind him are the symbolic keys to the gates of Heaven, no visible signature but probably by the same hand, approximate sizes 103cm x 35cm, Condition Report: St Andrew has a spot of paint loss to the cross, small amounts of paint loss to the right edge, St Paul has a small hole to the upper right area with some losses to the left edge, it is not in the frame, both frames have some losses
