LARGE CHINESE POWDER BLUE & GILT JAR AND COVER - QIANLONG. A large porcelain lidded jar, the dome top lid hinged with metal mounts. The jar with gilded decoration in the form of landscape scenes, and with a floral border around the rim and repeating border near the base. 60cms high. *CR Lid is chipped in one area to the rim, chip to underside of the rim, crack to underside of lid (which runs from the inside rim to the centre).
Jar, gilding has worn in places, one small firing crack inside (4cms across), small chips to the footrim in places.
