THE ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS, A PAIR OF VICTORIAN SILVER BREAST STARS. the centres with deer's head in a shield and a horn below, the reverse with bar for attachment, makers mark "G.C", Birmingham 1839/40, together with another with an inscription in the centre, by John Sutter, Chester 1842, two crowns mounted as brooches and a pair of wishbone sugar tongs; the largest star 4" (10.2cm) diameter; 6.1ozt (6).
Each with wear, particularly the high relief areas and the larger star with bending on the ends.
