A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 1354, 1936, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 5299 which became BR 45299. Its BR sheds included Longsight and Crewe South, with short spells towards the end at Bletchley, Willesden, Banbury, Stoke and Birkenhead from where it was withdrawn in November 1967 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Cast brass, 8¼"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
