Overall condition is good. No denting, splitting, thinning or signs of repair to any of the links. There is general scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. Tongue and box mechanism opens smoothly and closes securely. The safety catches are slightly stiff to undo, but close securely. The hallmarks are legible, but are quite heavily worn.
