A pair of large Japanese Satsuma porcelain vases, 20th century, each baluster vase with flared neck and shaped rim, both externally decorated with reserves of of warriors and geishas in a landscape, against an extensive ground of floral motifs and panels, black seal mark to the underside, 59.5cm high (2)
Decoration is printed and over painted. Colours remain vivid but appears a little naive in areas. General grubbiness and some surface staining throughout and to the interior of the necks. Scratching can been seen to the surface.
