A carved oak coffer, late 17th/early 18th century, the three panel hinged top (detached), over a lunette carved frieze and three panels centred with an incised lozenge motif, upon stile feet, 64cm H x 110cm W x 54cm D

Lid is detached , small patch repair to the top, iron bracket repair to a rear leg, otherwise general marks, scuffs and minor splits commensurate with age and use.
Chest appears sound with little play in the joints.
