A FRENCH SWORD BAYONET AND A TRIBAL KNIFE AND SHEATH. A 19th century French Chassepot type bayonet with a 52cm broad backed blade, the guard with forward facing quillon and two part wooden grip, with various stamped marks, 64cm. With a short bladed knife with pointed double edged 19cm blade, and horn mounted handle, the leather sheath with ribbed decoration, 31cm. (2). *CR: Both with lightly corroded blades and age related wear. *BP 22.5% (18.75% plus VAT) plus a lot fee of £8 inc. VAT on each lot.
