Rare Late 18th Century Griffin & Tow London Flintlock Cavalry Carbine
30 3/4 inch, smoothbore barrel. The top breech engraved "Griffin & Two London" and proof stamps. Early pattern lock plate marked "Griffin & Tow". Swan neck flint cock. Steel frizzen. Polished wooden handrail full stock, brass long tang butt plate, trigger guard, shield escutcheon side plate, ramrod pipe, barrel bands and end cap. The left side fitted with a long steel saddle bar. Steel ramrod.
