[Military Interest] A George VI silver salver by William Bruford & Son, London 1940, in the George III style, circular piecrust border, raised on four scrolled feet, engraved with a crest for the Royal Artillery and engraved below 'The Chestnut Troop' six signatures, 35cm (14in) diameter, 1200g (38.55 oz) The battery was deployed to France, serving with the British Expeditionary Force until the evacuation from Dunkirk. Possibly the surviving members.
