A 19th century 8-day striking mahogany longcase clock by Harris of Canterbury, the shaped pediment with ball finials, above an arched hand-painted dial with subsidiary second and minute dials, flanked by reeded pilasters, the plain trunk with arched door, on a stepped plinth base with bracket feet. Dial measures 11”. Total height 6’8” (204cm).
H204cm W48cm D25cm (approx).
Condition report: Repair to cornice. Some paint loss to dial. Second hand requires attention, pilasters are later. Evidence of historic woodworm. Includes both weights and brass bound pendulum.
