Victorian Highland Dirk by John Sellers of Sheffield, small knife signed "John Sellers" with the "S" and sword logo corporate (registered in 1838) blade 9", single edge with scalloped spine. Black carved strapwork hilt, flat white pommel finely engraved. Engraved lower mount engaging with scabbard locket similarly engraved. Knife & fork set beautifully made in the same design as the Dirk and set in white metal stepped mounts engraved in a matching style. Leather scabbard with silver / white metal mounts & chape. The whole in collector grade condition. John Sellers worked Sheffield 1843-1871 at 151 Arundel Street.
