Two late 18th century wood brisé fans, the first with 28 inner sticks and two guards, rounded tips, pierced, very thin, painted with a central cartouche, the border in gold, showing a young lady before her birdcage, the bird perched on her finger, listening intently to her endearments, two further vignettes painted with roses and leaves, the ribbon original, painted, guard approx. 25cm; the second fan being off the same period and form, this time pierced with a variety of decorative shapes, being ovals and roundels and others, guard approx. 26cm, contained in a card fan box labelled for Bellini, 189 Regent Street West (3)
One split to the first fan, one stick with slight loss to the tip, three other places with slight loss. The box has slight damage.
