A 1938 Sydney Empire (Commonwealth) Games silver medal awarded to Dora Gardner for the Ladies High Jump with a collection of related items to include a London 1948 Olympic Games competitors medal and cloth badge, various other medallions and a photograph album spanning her high jump career etc.
NB - Dora Gardner 1912-1994 Represented Great Britain and captained the Ladies Team at the London Olympics in 1948, finished eighth due to an ankle injury she also competed in Oslo and Berlin.
Provenance - Consigned by family descent.
