Chinese celadon vase, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), ovoid form with carved lingzhi and trellis design under a thick glaze, repairs to the neck accentuated with later gilt, height 25cm
Provenance: Glade Antiques (Oriental Specialists, Buckinghamshire). Purchased 1998 at a cost of £280.
There is damage to the rim with gold coloured infill. There is a hair crack running into the body. Some nibbles to the foot rim.
