WW1 Distinguished Conduct Medal, Military Medal, 1914 Star (copy), BWM, Victory Medal with MID oakleaf and WW2 Defence Medal to 11788 W.O. Cl II H. Beniams Worc R. (Sjt 1/Worc R. on DCM, C.S.Mjr D.C.M. 1/Worc R. on MM) very fine to extremely fine. Henry Beniams DCM was announced in the London Gazette dated 1st January and 13th February 1917, "For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He has been out repeatedly on patrols, and has obtained much valuable information. He has performed consistent good work throughout the campaign."
His MM was announced in the London Gazette dated 17th June 1919 and MID 1st January 1916. With copied LGs, MIC and casualty roll, he landed France 5/11/14, wounded in the thigh Oct 1916. Said to have served as an officer in the Home Guard in WW2. (See photo) (R)
