A FIRST WORLD WAR TRIO TO THE KING'S LIVERPOOL REGIMENT. A Great War Trio comprising 1914-15 Star named to 3692 Pte J.J. Witt L'Pool R. War Medal and Victory Medals similarly named. John James Witt was born c. 1895, he enlisted on the 13th January 1915 and served with the 8th (Irish) T.A.Battalion of the King's Liverpool Regiment. A resident of Blackpool, he was a prisoner of war from the 14th November 1916 at Dulem in Germany, having previously been twice wounded on the 5th September 1915 and 18th September 1916, whilst serving in France/Flanders. He was repatriated and demobilised on the 27th March 1919. Mounted for display with copied research.
