A French black slate perpetual calendar clock surmounted by an ormolu figure of Napoleon. Circa 1880, the figure on horseback, the ogee edged case with two enamel dials, the clock having a visible Brocot anchor escapement, the bottom calendar dial showing the months, days, date, and moon phase, height 67.5cm.
