An unusual Chinese cinnabar lacquer thousand flower footed dish, 18th/19th century, finely carved in high relief to the interior and the underside with multiple flowers, leaves and tendrils on a keywork ground, the inside of the foot plain, 20.1cm diameter, 6.1cm high, some restoration to edge of foot
Typical short fine cracks to the lacquer on the edge consistent with age, some areas of restoration to the edge of the foot, and a hint of retouching to the rim, otherwise checked under UV light and no other restoration detected.
