18th century English oak long case clock, marked Thomas Ore of Tong (Shropshire), having pagoda hood above square aperture flanked by gun barrel turned columns, moulded waist door on a cross banded panel base with later bracket feet. 11inch square brass dial with Roman chapter ring, figural spandrels and engraved field with date aperture, engraved No 6. Thirty hour single train movement, strikes on one bell. Overall 2M high approx. Included single weight and pendulum. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
