An early 19thC good Staffordshire pottery pearlware Ornament, attributed to Obadiah Sherratt, in the form of a high-backed settle, flanked with two figures, inscribed with 'PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD' with central clock face above flanked by sun and moon, the top edge with angelic finials, H 18.5cm x L 18cm x W 12cm.
Lot 151 : Overall good presentable condition, but this piece has been restored. The angels along the crest and central shell have all been restored, as well as the right-hand side back leg. Good quality restoration work. The right-hand figure has been off and re-stuck. There is a short hairline crack at bottom centre.
