Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, a little fine but stable craquelure running through much of the paint, some signs of retouching particularly the dark clouds to the top left corner, apparently unsigned, housed in an old plain gilt frame, traces of a Christie's stencil mark verso.
