RAF 1951 Pattern Lightweight Flying Overalls. 1950s vintage flying suit as worn by aircrew and pilots. This is the first pattern of post-war flying suit used by the RAF. Labelled with stores reference number 22C/1141, which equates to: Overall, Flying, Lightweight, 1951 Pattern, Size 5,
5ft. 8in. to 5ft. 11in., Breast 34-37in., Waist 29-33in., Seat 36-39in. Excellent condition overall
with all buttons present and retaining the original integral scarf and belt. Formerly the property of an RAF pilot who trained in Rhodesia during WW2 and later went on to be a civilian airline pilot.
