WW2 Third Reich Seitengewehr 98 K98 Bayonet with single edged fullered blade 245mm in length, maker marked "Coppel GmbH" along with serial number "7716b". Dated "40" to spine of blade. Working release catch. Pommel is Waffen Ampt marked. Bakelite grips. Overall length 380mm. No matching scabbard which is maker marked and dated "Paul Weyersberg & Co, Solingen 1937". Serial numbered "9840h". Ball Chape is HaWaA marked. Ex Russian captured example with strong blued finish to both bayonet and scabbard.
Very good ex Russian captured refurbished finish. No damage or rust to bayonet or scabbard.
