Pistol, a "cut down" Pattern 1778 East India Company Cavalry pistol of carbine bore (17/bore .66 inch) loose wooden rammer, barrel 9.5", brass furniture, ring neck cock (w/order on 1st & 2nd cock) heavy pitting to barrel & lock. Partially struck down, s/plate (no belt clip), walnut full stock, heavy wear to metal parts. EIC "heart" logo (no date visible h/pitting).
