A Victorian court sword, slender blade 32” etched with crowned “VR”, scrolls, P.O.W. feathers, “By Appointment”, and maker’s name “T.A Guthrie, Cork St, W”, gilt hilt with crowned “VR” on guard, crown pommel, and wire bound grip, in its gilt brass mounted leather scabbard. Near VGC, the blade retaining original polish, gilt good; with its webbing sling and buff leather frog. £120-150
