The negatives feature infrastructure and lines around the Kirkby In Ashfield area. The prints are from the John Hitchens collection and feature railways and infrastructure around Kirkby In Ashfield in North Nottinghamshire. The prints feature trip workings, holiday expresses, stations, boxes, junctions and trackbeds etc. The prints date from the 1960's onwards up to the opening of the "Robin Hood Line" in the 1990's. Copyright passes to the buyer. The prints are mostly captioned with the negative number and on the packets. The negatives are well captioned and date from the 1950's-70's. Sample illustrated.
