The paint surface appears to be in good condition showing no obvious damage. The paint has been applied thinly in some areas with the canvas weave visible beneath, but we believe this to be as the artist intended. Examination under UV shows no evidence of repair on restoration. The frame appears to be structurally sound, showing minor wear and the odd small loss to the surface finish.
