Cope & Co Longton 1930s pottery wall plaque in the form of a dogs head, 34cm wide, impressed writing, some not legible though we could make out 'Whitmore'. Vendor stated that this piece is one of 2 commissioned by a lady in Whitmore for her dog, which at the time was called 'The Pride of Whitmore'. The vendors relation used to work at the factory and was allowed to keep the second wall plaque.

More Information

The piece displays well though odd grazes and daages are present to the piece.
