French Brass and champleve enamel four glass panelled mantle clock, with presentation plaque for 1904, brass movement striking on a coiled gong, with mercury pendulum,. More Information

When the pendulum was set swinging, the minute hand appeared to move correctly, but it stopped swinging within five minutes. I did not wind the clock, as it already felt tightly wound. There are some scratches to the numbers on the face.

There are no obvious issues with the glass. None of the enamel is obviously missing, may be some small cracks or chips on close inspection.

On the right side of the clock, there appears to be a piece of paper wedged between the pillar and the glass.

The doors are very stiff to open. The metal has some general scuffs and scratching commensurate with age and use.
