A GEORGE III EBONISED BRACKET CLOCK. the 6 1/2" dial with silvered chapter ring and subsidiary strike/silent dial and date aperture, signed James Cox, London, on a brass twin fusee movement with verge escapement striking to a single bell with engraved floral backplate and bob pendulum, the caddy top case with brass fish scale grilles to the front and sides, with winding key and case keys, height excluding handle 46cm.
Winds but not currently running or striking, likely needs a service, veneer splits and some general wear, one circular side grille missing, hole to one side of case.
