AN INDIAN GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL 1908 - 1935 WITH MALABAR 1921-22 CLASP TO THE DORSET REGIMENT. A George V India General Service Medal with Malabar 1921-22 clasp named to 5719407 Pte G.R. Ashley Dorset R. Born on the 12th April 1899, he is recorded with the 2nd Battalion and served during the First World War receiving a War Medal and Victory Medal. He is recorded with numbers 0757 and 51186, being discharged on the 9th February 1924. Mounted for display with copied research.
