A French white marble and ormolu clock garniture Late 19th century, the rectangular case mounted with gilt metal scrolls and flower swags, surmounted with a figure of cupid and raised on toupie feet, the the 3.25 inch enamelled dial with black Arabic numerals and floral swags, with gilt openwork hands, the Vincent eight day movement with outside count wheel striking on a bell, the matching vases of amphora form, with pendulum and key/winder. Clock 30cm high Condition:• Case: Glass is a little loose in bezel. Top edge bead mount is a little loose. Small nibble to the bottom edge of the back of the case. • Dial: Very small enamel chip at the edge above 12, hidden beneath bezel. • Movement: Winds, runs and strikes. • Ancillaries: Garniture urns are both good.
